Someone you care about tells you they’re struggling.
Maybe they’re overwhelmed. Maybe they’re experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, or challenges they haven’t shared with anyone else.
You want to say the right thing. You want to help. But sometimes, even with the best intentions, we don’t know how to respond.
Do we offer advice? Do we try to fix the problem? Do we simply listen? And how do we know when someone needs more support than we can provide?
You don’t have to have all the answers to make a meaningful difference. You can learn how to respond with greater confidence, compassion, and understanding.
